Ashley Darby

Ashley Darby is an American TV personality and a singer. Her fame was boosted when she took home Miss District of Columbia 2011 and is a cast member of The Real Housewives of Potomac, since its inception at the beginning of January 2016. Ashley Darby's interests are philanthropy, hospitality, and holistic healthcare. Ashley was born in Maryland and is known for her fiery character, was instilled with the tenacity to succeed. Ashley was raised by an unmarried mother who provided for the younger children and Ashley's older siblings. After turning 18 she enrolled at the University of Maryland, and also bartended to help her keep a steady financial position for her and her family. Ashley's talents as a bartender were recognized by Miss District of Columbia Pageant who awarded her the crown in 2011. Then, shortly afterward, Ashley met Michael Darby an Australian real estate entrepreneur who is 30 years younger than her. Ashley was introduced to a completely new world and was introduced to sparks that flew. Ashley and Michael became married in 2019 and are proud grandparents Dean Michael, Dylan Matthew and Dylan Matthew. They spent 8 years together, but officially split at the end of 2022. Ashley has been qualified as a yoga instructor. Her belief is that inner peace is vital, however so is physical fitness. Ashley is enjoying an amazing time in her life, is working hard to find a good balance of loving her family as well as motherhood. In terms of her professional career, Ashley is a television professional by trade. She initially worked as a waitress to help support her family. Her love of fashion and entertainment started as a young girl. Moreover she then determined to enter the pageant competition. The contest was won by her. Miss District of Columbia title in 2011 as well. Followed by this she also participated at the Miss America pageant but even though she didn't get the title she could be awarded the opportunity to receive a scholarship. Also, she was awarded an award called the John Curran Award, which is an award for interviewing non-finalists.
